About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring for Computer Repair Technicians in Jeffersonville, IN. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and devices, ensuring quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a repair technician or in a related field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
- Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Order and replace defective parts as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest repair techniques and technologies.
