About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position for UND students. The role involves assisting end users with computer issues, troubleshooting systems, performing installations and cleaning, and documentation. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in at least one credit to be eligible for the position
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication & customer service skills
- Punctuality
- Ability to install software
Nice To Haves
- An understanding of computer functions such as hardware dependencies and components.
- Operating system fluency, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
- Basic understanding of how the internet and building networks function.
- Experience with troubleshooting issues such as virus and malware removal, hardware compatibility, and driver troubleshooting.
- Printer issues.
- Hardware installation and upgrade.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
