About The Position

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a qualified Software Tools Developer with at least 3 years of experience to support a U.S. Navy program. The position is onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, California. The role offers opportunities for career advancement, excellent benefits, and long-term stability.

Requirements

Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the responsibilities.
At least 3 years of experience using Visual Studio, ASP.NET projects, C#, Model View Controller (MVC) design features, Razor syntax, and the Bootstrap JavaScript framework.
At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft SQL and data queries or Transact (Microsoft) SQL.
At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel and Access for importing, transforming, and exporting data.
At least 3 years of experience using Qlik Sense to create visualizations incorporating dimensions and measures, use expressions, and use the data load editor to import data from sources such as Excel, Access, and SQL Server.
Familiarity with elevated SharePoint functions, including adjusting user privileges, modifying site pages, and creating lists.
Excellent verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening communication and interpersonal skills for formal and informal staff, customer, and organizational communications.
Ability to work in teams or independently; self-starter.
At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office suite programs.
At least 3 years of experience configuring Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
A BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline. An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree; alternatively, 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate's degree may substitute.
Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify general computer application software or specialized utility programs.
Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
Work at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success.
