About The Position

Under limited supervision, this role monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. The position also checks network systems to ensure statewide access, works with vendors for hardware/software, and ensures all printed output is of high quality and defect-free.

Requirements

Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience
Completion of either a two-year certificate/degree from a college, university, or technical school in an IT field or equivalent work experience in IT.
2 Years Experience as Computer Operator in a large Data Center.
2 Years Experience with a Network Operations Center (NOC).
2 Years Experience with Production Control.
2 Years Experience with Control-M.
2 Years Experience with TPE/BPE Manager.
2 Years Experience with security in a Data Center.
2 Years Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) in a Data Center.
2 Years Experience with electrical power in a Data Center including generators and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
2 Years Experience with a raised floor in a Data Center.
2 Years Experience with fire detection and fire suppression systems in a Data Center.
2 Years Experience with Change Management policies, procedures, and software.
2 Years Experience with Incident/Problem Management policies, procedures, and software.
2 Years Experience with Asset Management policies, procedures, and software.
2 Years Experience with Networks, such as LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA.
2 Years Experience with Microsoft Office.
2 Years Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
2 Years Experience with automated job schedulers.
2 Years Experience with hardware/software maintenance contracts.
2 Years Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Exp w/a Network Operations Center (NOC).

Exp with distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
