About The Position

Our client, a large enterprise organization, is seeking a Computer Field Analyst to provide essential face-to-face and remote technical assistance to internal employees across a wide range of hardware and software issues. This hybrid role is based in Oakland, CA and requires hands-on field support experience within a large enterprise network environment. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate across IT teams to ensure efficient and reliable IT operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of IT computer field support experience
  • Advanced desktop hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Intermediate network connectivity troubleshooting experience
  • Intermediate mobile device support experience
  • Advanced peripheral device support skills
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Experience supporting computing environments within a large enterprise network setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to IT infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Background in enterprise IT environments with distributed user bases

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive desktop and mobile device technical support to internal employees both onsite and remotely
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Fulfill client service requests and assist with IT-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for escalated issues and system-wide events
  • Contribute to knowledge base development and process improvement initiatives
