About The Position
TRISTAR is seeking a highly motivated Computer Engineer III / Team Lead to lead a diverse technical team and support the engineering activities of the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience developing and maintaining system architectures, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
- Prior leadership experience in a relevant field.
- Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Develop and maintain system architectures, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate software, DSP, RF, and systems engineering activities.
- Support technical planning, integration, verification, and risk reduction activities.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between the contractor team and the government team.
- Coordinate contractor participation in recurring technical meetings.
- Assist with prioritization of engineering work and technical issue resolution.
- Support cybersecurity and program protection planning activities.
- Communicate effectively with technical and program stakeholders.
- Analyze and decompose complex technical requirements.
