Summary: The Computer Engineer II provides technical engineering support for enterprise virtualization, cloud, and infrastructure modernization initiatives supporting the DHA CIMPLE environment.

Requirements

Familiarity with Windows server environments and networking fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
One (1) year of technical experience in support of VMWare or Citrix projects.
The contractor shall have a TOP SECRET (TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and enterprise storage technologies.

Responsibilities

Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VMware and Citrix environments.
Assist with virtualization infrastructure implementation and operational sustainment activities.
Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health.
Support patching, upgrades, system migrations, and technical refresh activities.
Assist with storage, backup, disaster recovery, and enterprise hosting operations.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Support cybersecurity compliance and RMF activities.
Maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
