Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • One year of experience providing end-user support or training on personal computers and hardware
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware problems efficiently.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of devices and have a solid understanding of computer components and basic networking.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as you’ll be assisting staff with varying levels of tech knowledge in a patient-focused environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks will help you succeed in this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Experience supporting hardware in a healthcare setting, such as desktops, laptops, printers, or medical devices
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology
  • Experience keeping hardware up and running under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely troubleshooting and repair of hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist hospital staff with setup, configuration, and basic use of computer hardware and devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and support system-wide technology initiatives.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and repairs.
