About The Position

Provides Computed Tomography imaging procedures within the scope of practice, including receiving and preparing patients and equipment for procedures and maintaining supplies for the CT department. Produces high-quality scans by following protocols set forth by the radiology department. Operates CT equipment in a safe and proficient manner within the boundaries of competence, based on documented education, training, supervised experience, state, and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Works with students from approved educational institutions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year College or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least six (6) months of Computed Tomography experience.
  • Currently certified in Radiography and Computed Tomography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) (CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
