About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team. The role operates specialized, computer-controlled X-ray equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional diagnostic images of internal organs, bones, and soft tissues. The technologist’s clinical expertise supports radiologists and attending physicians in diagnosing complex medical conditions, acute trauma, and internal disorders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of dedicated CT Technologist experience.
• Active ARRT (CT) certification and registration.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Exceptional knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Strong IV start skills.
• Intermediate PACS/EHR proficiency.
• Excellent, compassionate patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures using computerized tomography scanners in accordance with clinical protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Explain procedures to patients, verify medical history, screen for contrast contraindications, position patients accurately, and maintain patient comfort and safety throughout examinations.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media using aseptic technique and appropriate dose protocols.
• Evaluate completed scans for technical quality and accuracy, confirm complete cross-sectional coverage, and transmit images to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Apply ALARA principles, inspect equipment daily, and follow infection control and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
