About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bay City, MI. This position involves working nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 36-hour work week. The role requires operating and maintaining CT scanning equipment, preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast agents, monitoring patients, adjusting scan parameters, reviewing images, collaborating with radiologists, maintaining records, following safety protocols, educating patients, performing equipment checks, staying current with advancements, assisting in emergencies, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must have 2 Years of CT Experience
  • Must have Valid Hard Copy of ARRT (CT) Certification
  • Must have Phillips Experience
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional practice.
  • Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
  • Administer contrast agents as required.
  • Monitor patients during scanning to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Adjust scan parameters based on the specific area of the body being imaged.
  • Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and report imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
  • Provide patient education regarding the CT scan procedure.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
  • Stay current with continuing education and advancements in CT technology.
  • Assist in emergency medical situations during scanning when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
