Computational Inorganic Mass Spectrometry Postdoc Research Associate
About The Position
The Global Security Directorate at Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for computational inorganic mass spectrometry. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mass spectrometry and analytical statistical methods/data modeling, with expertise in chemical separations, proposal and publication writing, and experimental design. The candidate will work closely with SRNL’s multi-collector mass spectrometry team, as well as the broader trace analytical measurement group consisting of a broad swath of integrated disciplines. All SRNL Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are fixed term assignments within the company and benefits eligible.
Requirements
- Strong background in mass spectrometry.
- Strong background in analytical statistical methods/data modeling.
- Expertise in chemical separations.
- Expertise in proposal and publication writing.
- Expertise in experimental design.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with SRNL’s multi-collector mass spectrometry team.
- Collaborate with the broader trace analytical measurement group.
- Conduct research in computational inorganic mass spectrometry.
- Apply analytical statistical methods and data modeling.
- Utilize expertise in chemical separations.
- Engage in proposal and publication writing.
- Participate in experimental design.
