The Compressor Mechanic IV will safely and efficiently perform maintenance on all equipment as directed by his/her Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves reporting to work on time, being prepared to work late when required, and submitting weekly reports. The mechanic will advise the supervisor on equipment changes or purchases needing approval, maintain their vehicle in good mechanical and clean condition, and report to the supervisor before beginning daily assignments. Tasks must be performed safely and responsibly. The role includes performing preventative maintenance and work on all Kinetik equipment in plants and fields per work orders or as assigned by the supervisor, and keeping equipment clean and in good working condition. Attendance at safety meetings is expected when possible. Compressor mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on Caterpillar/Waukesha Engines & Ariel compressors, 5000 HP CAT Electric motors, cooler fans, valves on equipment & lines, and electrical & controls on skids. All other duties as assigned.
