About The Position

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. We also provide surgical services and around-the-clock care at some of the area’s top hospitals. We invite applications for a specialist in Comprehensive Ophthalmology at our Gwinnett medical center.

Requirements

• MD or DO, completion of an ophthalmology residency
• Board Certified or Eligible
• Currently licensed or able to obtain license in the State of Georgia
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, prescribe medication, and perform ophthalmic surgeries within training scope including cataract surgery.
• Diagnosis and treat eye disease and visual problems.
• Provide patient care in medical and surgical eye conditions.
• Educate patients on their condition and treatment options and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
