About The Position

Bridges Homeward is hiring a full-time Comprehensive Foster Care Social Worker in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The position has a 33.5-hour work week and a small caseload of eight youth. The social worker supports foster youth by promoting their safety, stability, well-being, and lasting supportive connections. The role includes weekly home visits, case management and treatment planning, collaboration with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) on permanency planning, and rotating after-hours on-call coverage. Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and two years of experience working with children and families may substitute for the preferred MSW requirement.
• Ability to obtain social work licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LSW, or LSWA) within six months.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
