Compounding Technician I - 3rd Shift (Sun-Thu Nights)
About The Position
Process pharmaceutical ingredients and products, including liquid solutions and suspensions, on the night shift at a global pharmaceutical manufacturer in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves preparing and mixing saline solutions, compounding ingredients, operating and cleaning production equipment, supporting CIP and SIP activities, and monitoring fill line operations. Work must follow SOPs, cGMP, and GxP requirements, with accurate documentation. This is a six-month contract with possible extension. The schedule is 11:00 pm–7:30 am, Sunday night through Thursday night, for 40 hours per week. The stated start date is November 2026.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, preferably in Science or Engineering, or at least 30 college credits including two chemistry courses with lab.
- Aseptic technique.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, preferably involving water systems, sanitization, sterilizers, or technician work.
- Chemical compounding experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix saline solutions and compound ingredients.
- Operate and clean equipment, including 350–650 kg reactor vessels, filters, parts, and compounding kits.
- Support production through Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP).
- Monitor fill line operations using SCADA, including pressure, temperature, and recipe steps.
- Follow SOPs, cGMP, and GxP requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
