Compounding Operator Rotating Position Must be willing to work weekends and night shifts (as required by product mix and management). Must have strong communication skills with both hourly associates and management Must be able to work independently Responsible for making chemical mixes for the coating ranges. Also responsible for quality testing of mixes for certification Also responsible for entering test data from mixes into database Responsible for communicating/auditing inventory levels of base chemicals and mixes. Responsible for reviewing chemical supplier Certificates of Approval (COA). Responsible for loading and unloading of chemicals. This will require daily interaction with deliveries
Requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends and night shifts (as required by product mix and management).
- Must have strong communication skills with both hourly associates and management.
- Must be able to work independently.
- A lift truck license is required for this position.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with ABB is preferred.
- Prior experience as a machine operator is preferred, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Making chemical mixes for the coating ranges.
