About The Position

Responsible for performing general building maintenance and cleaning both interior and exterior as required.

Requirements

• Must have basic English oral, written and communication skills.
• Skilled in preventive maintenance measures and trouble shooting.
• Organized and efficient in time management skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Capable of following all required SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety programs.
• Employee will be required to handle cleaning chemicals and solvents as required during course of job execution.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of general building maintenance.
• A combination of vocational training, education and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Operate Floor Scrubber for production and warehouse floors as required.
• Clean and polish all furniture and fixtures.
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of exterior building perimeter.
• Clean, wash or paint building walls as required.
• Remove rubbish from all trash containers throughout building including office receptacles.
• Maintain and sanitize all building bathroom/rest areas.
• Supply and Service Quality Control area
• Daily checks of all office and bathroom lighting
• Assist Building Maintenance Technicians as requested with preventive and corrective maintenance issues.
• Daily check for operational plumbing
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
