About The Position

Curexa is seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare customized medications, ensure accuracy in calculations, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques; training is offered in these areas. The technician will use pharmacy information systems and computer equipment, perform precise mathematical calculations, communicate effectively, prioritize work, and work independently. The position is based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The day-shift schedule is either 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the set schedule and workdays assigned according to operational needs. Pay is $18.50–$22.25 per hour, with the tier based on experience. Curexa is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must attain a state Pharmacy Technician License (registration).
Must have or be willing to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through NHA, PTCB, or Curexa's in-house program.
Basic mathematics skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
Computer and keyboarding skills, including working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to commute to Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234, or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques; training is offered.
Current pharmacy technician registration or certification.
