Compounding Pharmacy Technician

About The Position
As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support the pharmacy team in preparing medications accurately and safely according to established procedures. You’ll assist with medication preparation and compounding, follow applicable sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures, and help maintain medication safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician License.
- Commitment to medication safety.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy or compounding experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and compounding.
- Follow established sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures as applicable.
- Measure, prepare, label, and document medications accurately.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow safety, quality, and infection prevention standards.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Monitor supplies and assist with inventory.
- Support pharmacists and the broader healthcare team.
