About The Position

Shrivers Pharmacy, part of Coler Healthcare, is hiring a Compounding Pharmacist to create personalized medications for patients in Southeast Ohio. The role focuses on compounding in areas including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), pain management, pediatric and veterinary care, and dermatology. The pharmacist will use the pharmacy’s compounding lab and equipment, along with PCCA training, to prepare customized strengths, dosage forms, and flavors. The position also rotates through coverage of open pharmacist shifts at other Shrivers Pharmacy locations.

The pharmacist will work with prescribers, patients, pharmacists, and technicians to address individual medication needs. The role includes oversight of quality and compliance, product verification, and staff mentorship, with an emphasis on safe, accurate, patient-specific medications. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college or university.
• Current, active pharmacist license in Ohio.
• Expectation to obtain pharmacist licensure in West Virginia within the first year.
• Successful completion of a fingerprint-based criminal history evaluation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-first attitude and commitment to excellent patient care.
• Genuine passion for community-focused healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare personalized compounded medications, including custom strengths, dosage forms, and flavors.

• Verify compounded products for safety and accuracy.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians.
