About The Position
Compounding Pharmacy Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing customized medications, ensuring accuracy in calculations, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Ability to commute: Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
- High school or equivalent.
- Must be willing to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification via NHA,PTCB, or Curexa In-House program.
- Must achieve State Registration.
- Proficiency in pharmacy information systems, computer operations, and precise mathematical calculations.
- Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Effective computer and keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Nice To Haves
- Medication & Compounding Expertise: Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques. (Preferred; Training Offered)
- Current pharmacy technician registration/certification
- Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems
