About The Position

This position involves the safe and accurate compounding of chemical blends. The Compounder will be responsible for identifying chemicals, operating blending equipment, weighing ingredients, and ensuring the quality and proper labeling of all materials. A strong commitment to safety, quality standards (ISO9001), and continuous improvement is essential.

Requirements

Capable of identifying different types of chemicals.
Able to fill and operate the feeder system at the Henschel blender and small adds station.
Can operate the Henschel blender to mix chemical blends.
Understands how to use the digital scales for weighing chemicals.
Determines which Henschel blend is needed per work order and calculates how many batches are required.
Determines which small adds are needed per work order and calculates how many bags are needed.
Knows the proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment required for this position.
Properly labels all containers of chemicals.
Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards.
Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement.
Identifies and/or records any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.

Responsibilities

Use hand truck to move skids of chemicals.
Identify different types of chemicals.
Fill and operate the feeder system at the Henschel blender and small adds station.
Operate the Henschel blender to mix chemical blends.
Use digital scales for weighing chemicals.
Determine which Henschel blend is needed per work order and calculate the number of batches required.
Determine which small adds are needed per work order and calculate the number of bags needed.
Use all Personal Protective Equipment required for this position.
Properly label all containers of chemicals.
Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards.
