Compounder
About The Position
The Compounder is responsible for manufacturing products according to established procedures, health, and safety guidelines. This role involves accurately handling, measuring, and blending bulk chemicals in both liquid and powder forms. The Compounder will monitor batches, make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and quantity standards are met, and maintain cleanliness of equipment. Record-keeping, adherence to safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are essential. Additionally, the role includes packaging products into various containers, ensuring accurate weighing and proper labeling. Maintaining a safe workspace and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience in chemical manufacturing; 2+ years of chemical blending preferred.
- Able to read batch instructions, communicate effectively, and solve practical problems.
- Team player with a strong "get-the-job-done" attitude.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available for overtime and some Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
