About The Position

This role is responsible for reviewing batch cards, checking raw material status, and preparing necessary paperwork for the preweigh process. The Compounder/Preweigh ensures the accuracy of weighed raw materials according to batch card requirements, records inventory movement, and maintains a clean and safe workspace. This position also involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment and components, verifying weight scale accuracy, and adhering to safety rules and GMP requirements. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 - 2 years’ experience working with equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic weights, measurements and math skills.
• Computer literate.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews batch card, checking raw material status prior to commencing with the preweigh process.
• Prepares all necessary paperwork: in process labels, weight sheets for assigned batch.
• Ensures accuracy of weighed raw materials in accordance with batch card requirements.
• Responsible for recording inventory movement locations of raw materials.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing department equipment and components.
• Responsible for housekeeping of production lines and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
• Verifies the accuracy of weight scales.
• Adheres to established safety rules and GMP requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
