About The Position

The Compounder II reports to the Compounding Supervisor and is responsible for preparing batches according to manufacturing instructions and established procedures. This role requires the ability to safely and effectively operate mixing vessels, pumps, valves, and filtration equipment to produce high-quality products. The Compounder II is also responsible for completing compliance documentation and mixing instructions.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent
Be able to lift 50 pounds
Previous experience in compounding in manufacturing
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Strong organizational, record-keeping and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and procedures
2 to 5 years’ experience required, or similar work experience
Flexible to work different shifts to meet deadlines
Ability to sit, walk, and move around for several hours

Responsibilities

Produce batches per mixing instructions
Understand safety hazards and identify them
Partner with the team to assure production goals are met
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Operate mixing equipment effectively
Connect and disconnect pumps and hoses
Enter data into SAP system
Take samples and submit to the lab
Run some in-process checks with lab equipment
Follow SOP and Work Instructions for practical application in regulated environment
Verify raw materials weighed and help accomplish weigh tasks as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
