Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
5+ years of production experience in a nuclear, chemical, or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with precision machinery
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Experience processing carbon fiber composite parts
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, and travel for training as needed
Hands-on experience with filament winding, composite materials, or resin systems

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain filament winding machines that coat and wind composite filaments under precise tension to produce cylindrical components.
Set machine parameters.
Handle and mix resins.
Cut finished tubes to specification.
Follow detailed work instructions.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running smoothly.
Balance craftsmanship, safety, and process discipline to deliver high-quality composite products with minimal downtime.
