About The Position

This role focuses on the diagnosis, rebuilding, and repair of various powertrain components, including transmissions, torque converters, and axles. The technician will be responsible for component overhauls, troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring the quality of repairs. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Communication skills are important for interacting with customers and team members. Periodic travel for training and operational support may be required.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude with diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
Knowledge of hand tools, air tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals, service literature, specifications, and parts documentation.
Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
Willingness to travel periodically for training and operational support.

Nice To Haves

Experience diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing transmissions, torque converters, axles, and other powertrain components.
Ability to perform component overhauls, troubleshooting, testing, and final verification of repairs.
Forklift experience preferred.
Knowledge of crane, hoist, and rigging procedures is an asset.
