Component Rebuild Technician - 3 Day Shift

About The Position
This role focuses on diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing various powertrain components. The technician will be responsible for overhauls, troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring the quality of repairs. A strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of relevant systems and tools are essential. The position also involves some customer interaction and periodic travel.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
- Knowledge of hand tools, air tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, service literature, specifications, and parts documentation.
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
- Willingness to travel periodically for training and operational support.
Nice To Haves
- Experience diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing transmissions, torque converters, axles, and other powertrain components.
- Ability to perform component overhauls, troubleshooting, testing, and final verification of repairs.
- Forklift experience.
- Knowledge of crane, hoist, and rigging procedures.
