About The Position

Oracle is seeking a Component Quality Engineer to support quality and reliability for storage products and related infrastructure components. This role will be a remote position with a few expected site visits per year, and focus on storage hardware such as SSDs, HDDs, JBODs, NAND-based products, storage controllers, and related server/storage platforms. This position involves working with leading semiconductor, storage, and manufacturing suppliers across components such as NAND, HDDs, SSDs, JBODs, memory, CPUs, and server hardware. The engineer will interface closely with Oracle design teams, internal and external manufacturing partners, suppliers, and end customers to support product quality from new product introduction through end of life.

Requirements

Experience with storage hardware such as SSDs, HDDs, JBODs, NAND-based products, storage controllers, and related server/storage platforms.
Experience working with semiconductor, storage, and manufacturing suppliers.
Familiarity with components such as NAND, HDDs, SSDs, JBODs, memory, CPUs, and server hardware.
Ability to interface closely with design teams, manufacturing partners, suppliers, and end customers.
