The Role: In this role, you will: Be responsible for creating and maintaining component data Work with a variety of components and materials used in GPS Products Provide technical leadership to Design Engineers, Purchasing, Quality & Program Managers to resolve component issues regarding obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages or failures Perform BOM Analysis on new designs Provide technical support in the resolution of complex commodity issues in a design and manufacturing environment Create and update documentation needed to support Program requirements Who you are: You possess good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills (Customers, Peers, Management and Suppliers) You’re willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get the job done You are always looking for ways to do things better and faster Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
