Compliance & Quality Specialist

Banyan Treatment Centers is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance & Quality Specialist to support regulatory compliance and quality improvement across our growing network of substance use and mental health treatment programs. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of compliance-related experience in healthcare/behavioral health, preferably in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment.
- Basic familiarity with healthcare regulatory bodies such as Joint Commission, AHCA, DCF, or CARF — training provided.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and compliance or EHR software; experience with KIPU is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Adaptability across different regulatory environments and facility types
- Strong follow-through and accountability
- Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities
- Support the tracking and renewal of facility licenses across federal, state, city, and county agencies.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with Joint Commission, DCF, AHCA, CARF, and applicable regulations under the guidance of senior staff.
- Help monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to internal teams.
- Assist in drafting, editing, and maintaining policies and procedures for behavioral health services.
- Support Performance Improvement projects, including data collection, tracking, and reporting.
- Assist with audit preparation, internal audits, and corrective action documentation.
- Maintain and update compliance databases and generate routine reports.
- Support the maintenance of the annual Disaster Plan and assist with required drills.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams on quality and compliance initiatives.
