About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Compliance Project Manager to work for our company. The client agency is the Defense Logistics Agency. This role serves as the project manager for a large, complex project (or a group of projects affecting the same common / standard / migration system) and works with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the Project Leads, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. The position is responsible for the overall management of the contractor’s support of all tasks within this PWS, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities necessary for all tasks to meet schedule, and performance requirements. The role manages all day-to-day operations including administrative functions, assessing risks, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts. The Compliance Project Manager monitors project performance for risk management and provides industry best practices for executing projects based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) model.

Requirements

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies.)
  • Must have a Project or Program Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification)
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level II
  • Must have an ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in IT/logistics project or program management; supervisory experience.
  • Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
