About The Position

The Compliance Technician will provide support and consistency in the closing of production tickets and the updating of the SAP system. The individual in this position will focus his/her daily work activities on maintaining documentation for the department, primarily related to processing tickets and the SAP system, in such a manner to allow other resources to focus on activities on the production floor. This position will work closely with the production supervisors, operators, quality control, and innovation management to ensure complete and accurate documentation of production activities and to continuously improve the documentation in the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or regulated production environment.
  • Experience completing and maintaining production documentation (e.g., tickets, batch records) with high accuracy.
  • Working experience using ERP systems for production or compliance tracking (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with production, quality, and supervision.
  • Demonstrated adherence to safety, PPE, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete daily documentation and reporting tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate complex processes, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.
  • Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. This will involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
  • Carry out standard installation activities under detailed guidance.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems by applying previously defined solutions.
  • Carry out standard maintenance and repair activities under detailed guidance.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems by applying previously defined solutions.
  • Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
  • Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
