About The Position

The JF Petroleum Group is a leading provider of fueling infrastructure solutions in North America, offering comprehensive services for distribution, construction, and maintenance. They cater to a wide range of clients, including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power providers. This role involves performing inspections of UST and/or AST systems using specialized software and ensuring compliance with safety and technical protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background screening, and motor vehicle record check.
  • Appreciation for safety and adherence to strict safety and technical protocols.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), and ability to learn industry-specific software.
  • Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, team members, and supervisors.
  • Minimum of 3 months' experience with petroleum-related equipment.
  • Ability to meet company's employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours per day.

Nice To Haves

  • Obtain API Safety Certification during onboarding.
  • Complete Class A and Class B Operator certifications for the state(s) in which they operate via online course within 30 days of employment.
  • Complete PEI RP-900 online training within 45 days of employment.
  • Complete JF Petro Group Service Training NTO (New to the Organization) and NTI (New to the Industry) courses within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain daily work assignments from dispatcher using computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) such as MobileTech or ServiceMax.
  • Drive company service vehicles to customer locations, often on a set route.
  • Prepare customer workspaces for safe inspection activities.
  • Perform visual inspections of UST and/or AST systems using survey software like PASS or Titan.
  • Take photographs of inspected equipment and components using CompanyCam.
  • Accurately capture and report inspection results in survey applications or customer-specific forms.
  • Maintain company vehicle, parts inventory, and testing equipment.
  • Support compliance testing personnel as a helper and apprentice.
  • Increase industry knowledge and obtain manufacturer certifications related to testing.
