About The Position

The Compliance Driver is responsible for driving to the communities managed by Spectrum AM on a regular basis and making notations of non-compliant homeowners. This position directly inspects homes for compliance by driving through neighborhoods Spectrum serves. The drives are completed in a company vehicle, but you may occasionally be asked to use your own vehicle to complete drives due to scheduling issues. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for the use of your personal vehicle if this occurs. Some properties may require walking some areas of the property. In this role, you may need to de-escalate and resolve conflicts with difficult or upset homeowners, and training is provided for these situations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Auto insurance.
  • Safe driving record.
  • Computer literate.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understand how to enter data into databases and iPads.
  • Proven skill in conflict resolution and customer service.
  • Organization and time management.
  • Problem solving and analysis.
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to understand and carry out oral and written requests.
  • Able to multitask and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service minded with the ability to work as part of a team and maintain a calm demeanor during customer interactions and peak times.
  • Ability to use your own vehicle for drives if the company vehicle is unavailable, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

  • Driving to communities to inspect homes for compliance.
  • Making notations of non-compliant homeowners.
  • Improving service by recommending improved processes and identifying new product and service applications.
  • Working with homeowners regarding various issues involving compliance and resolution of those issues.
  • Responding to customer inquiries by understanding the inquiry, reviewing previous similar inquiries and responses, researching other information, assembling the information, forwarding it to the customer, and verifying customer understanding.
  • Continually increasing job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, and reading and understanding governing documents of each homeowner’s association.
  • Walking some areas of the property if required for certain communities.
