About The Position

Everpure (NYSE: P) is seeking an Associate Compliance Counsel (IC2) to help safeguard the company's integrity and foster a culture of ethical excellence. This role involves applying developing legal expertise to address compliance and ethics challenges, mitigating legal risk globally. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, Finance, and Operations, to maintain internal controls, evaluate partner risk, and develop compliance programs. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission (or pending application) in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Broad understanding of global regulatory standards and risk areas, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, privacy, trade compliance, or competition law, gained through law firm practice, in-house legal departments, or government/regulatory agency work.
  • Proven ability to evaluate varied facts, exercise sound legal judgment within defined policies, conduct thorough legal research, and assist with structured witness interviews or internal reviews.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building productive cross-functional relationships and explaining legal concepts clearly to non-legal business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, and refine global training programs and company-wide events to enhance employee engagement and policy awareness.
  • Conduct risk-based due diligence and evaluations for prospective third-party vendors and channel partners to mitigate bribery, corruption, and regulatory exposures.
  • Review business requests, evaluate policy exceptions, and administer policy acknowledgment tracking.
  • Participate in internal compliance reviews and investigations, including witness interviews, evidence analysis, document reviews, and drafting summary reports.
  • Monitor global regulatory, legislative, and industry developments (e.g., anti-bribery/anti-corruption, privacy, export controls) to update internal procedures.
