About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator/Trainer is a member of the management team at The Oaks Academy, a secure post-adjudication facility in Brownwood, Texas, serving young men ages 13–17. The position works jointly with the Rite of Passage Program Director to accomplish licensing and corporate compliance at the location and reports directly to the Program Director. The role also involves learning the Rite of Passage systems and programs sufficiently to train staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in auditing and training, or a bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in auditing and training.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Nice To Haves

• Juvenile Supervision Officer (JSO) experience.
• Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapters 343 and 344.

Responsibilities

• Work as a staff member of the management team.
