About The Position

The Compliance and Risk Analyst assists the IT Program Manager in the registration of all Application and Database Management Systems (DADMS) for inclusion into the investment portfolio. The role involves using the IT portfolio tool to manage the compliance of Secretariat systems with various DON and DoD requirements, such as FISMA and the Investment Review Board (IRB) process. The analyst will maintain an IT Investment Portfolio to support IT technology initiatives and planning by examining options and tracking current investments. This includes providing Business Case Analysis (BCA) for IT options and alternatives, covering aspects like modification vs. replacement of existing technology, success metrics, cost-benefit analysis, total cost of ownership, and business impact assessments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a compliance or related role
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and ethical standards
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

Assist the IT Program Manager in the registration of all Application and Database Management Systems (DADMS) for inclusion into the investment portfolio.
Use the IT portfolio tool to manage the compliance of Secretariat systems on all DON and DoD requirements, such as FISMA, the Investment Review Board (IRB) process, and others.
Maintain an IT Investment Portfolio in support of IT technology initiatives and planning by examining options and tracking current investments.
Provide Business Case Analysis (BCA) for the various IT options and alternatives being considered, including options analysis (modification vs. replacement), metrics for evaluating investment success and project progress, cost-benefit comparison analysis, Total Cost of Ownership, and business impact of technology choices.
