About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Compliance and Policy Specialist to join our team! A Compliance & Policy Specialist uses critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills to build interdepartmental relationships and programs. The Compliance & Policy Specialist oversees projects and/or program(s) with significant interdependencies and communicates across multiple channels including Compliance, Informatics, Clinical, Quality, Safety and Operations teams to define an initiative’s scope, schedule, projects, policies and committees. Compliance& Policy Specialists have ownership from initiation to development of deliverables through deployment of the product, oversight of policies including turnover to the appropriate systems support and user support organizations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant project management experience - required.
  • Experience with various EHRs, clinical software packages, project management software, and business platforms.
  • Communication skills using speech and writing.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical requirements and solutions to both technical and nontechnical users.
  • Intermediate Mathematical Skills.
  • Strong problem solving and ability to prioritize, multitask, work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with all personality types.
  • Ability to systematically troubleshoot complex problems and develop solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • College graduate – Preferred.
  • Healthcare experience - preferred.
  • Quality Assurance or Compliance and Regulator experience - preferred.
