This role involves interpreting and applying Procurement Policy Manual (PPM), FAR and DFARS requirements, CPSR standards, and internal controls to procurement actions. The specialist will support internal CPSR readiness activities, including documentation review, corrective actions, and process improvements. Key responsibilities include maintaining a CPSR approved business system, Federal Funding and Accountability Transparency Act (FFATA) reporting, job aids, procurement templates, and other assigned tasks. The role requires reviewing procurement artifacts for compliance, such as Sole/Single Source Justifications (SSJ), source selections, market research, price analyses, and approvals. Additionally, the specialist will review procurement files to ensure compliance with federal regulations and the Procurement Policy Manual (PPM), assist with policy updates, annual core training, guidance creation, and change management in coordination with Regulatory Compliance & Reporting. The position also requires staying updated on new trends and innovations in Procurement Compliance within federal contracting and supporting training initiatives and process improvements for Procurement teams and Business Partners. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
