About The Position

Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Analyst for a remote, U.S.-based role. This position reports to the VP of Global Risk Management & Internal Audit. The Compliance Analyst will support investigations, compliance tracking, monitoring, quality assurance, third-party due diligence, risk management, contract compliance, and training compliance functions. The role involves cross-training in various Ethics and Compliance department functions to ensure flexibility, continuity, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working within a corporate Ethics and Compliance organization or a closely related legal or regulatory field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in internal investigations.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements and standards.
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive and verifiable training in Excel, including formulas, tables, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in teams, and as a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to engage collaboratively as a team player with cross-functional organizations.
  • Willingness and capability to cross-train across Internal Audit and Risk Management functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Personable, self-starting team player.
  • Proactive, organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position and other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Prior experience with third-party due diligence and risk management (e.g., economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption).
  • Prior experience working in an Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, or Risk Management function.
  • Experience with third-party research tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform compliance tracking tasks including monitoring, quality assurance, and compiling measurement metrics.
  • Assist with internal investigations, including root cause analysis, background research, evidence collection, interview preparation, report writing, and investigation management.
  • Assist with compliance audits, including research, evidence collection, and report writing.
  • Perform screenings and due diligence checks of third parties (agents, vendors, clients, business partners).
  • Assist with contract compliance awareness by identifying potential ethics and compliance considerations in contracts, escalating issues, and supporting follow-up tracking.
  • Develop awareness and capability to cross-train in various Ethics and Compliance department functions.
  • Provide support for internal reporting to Senior Management, Leadership, and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage metrics and gather data for reporting requirements.
  • Assist with managing and updating departmental and procedural documentation and records.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
  • Drive operational efficiencies by leveraging technology to improve compliance programs.
  • Engage in personal and job-related professional development.
  • Perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
