Requirements

At least three years of relevant experience in a compliance or legal environment
A college diploma in paralegal studies, a bachelor’s degree in law, or another relevant field
An advanced level of French and English, both spoken and written, due to daily interactions with English- and French-speaking clients and partners across Canada

Responsibilities

Developing tools to support the processes of the Chief Privacy Officer’s Office and documenting them
Contributing to the implementation of various Privacy Office processes, particularly those related to privacy incidents, access to information requests, and privacy impact assessments
Supporting business units in understanding practices and procedures, applying privacy processes, and using the technological tools involved
Participating in the improvement of technological tools under the responsibility of the Chief Privacy Officer
Collaborating with team members to develop awareness initiatives for all iA Group employees on privacy protection, including reviewing corporate and business unit training content
Preparing required reports for regulatory authorities, particularly in the case of privacy incidents
Participating in the drafting of reports for various governance bodies within iA Financial Group by collecting information from multiple stakeholders
Managing and responding to privacy-related inquiries from partners, employees, clients, and other individuals
