The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking a Compliance Analyst III to join the Purchased Client Services Division. This position is responsible for examining and evaluating provider applications, including policies, procedures, treatment and logic models, business and training plans, and other necessary information to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The role involves making recommendations on whether residential childcare providers meet the compliance criteria to be credentialed for providing foster care services to children in DFPS conservatorship. The position interacts with providers, Single Source Continuum Contractors, and various DFPS and HHSC divisions. This is a highly complex (senior level) compliance analysis role involving examining, evaluating, and monitoring records, programs, policies, documents, and/or contracts to ensure conformity with laws, rules, and regulations, and conducting inspection and analysis activities. The position works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. This position has the potential for full-time telework and may be housed statewide, with a preference for Austin applicants.
