About The Position

The Compliance Administrator plays a critical role ensuring that an organization adheres to legal standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, and mitigating risks.

Requirements

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting compliance, risk, legal, audit, or regulatory functions preferred.
  • Experience compiling data and building reports/dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support leadership reporting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
  • Experience with ABAC, KYC, third-party risk management or due diligence processes and tools a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Updates compliance policies and procedures in accordance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conducts regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Monitors organizational activities to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Prepares and presents audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identifies and manages compliance risks within the organization.
  • Recommends strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Stays current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Administers Compliance SharePoint sites, including the Policy Center and Regulatory Directory, ensuring resources remain accurate and user-friendly.
  • Supports third-party risk management processes, including due diligence intake, screening, monitoring, and recordkeeping.
  • Coordinates policy governance activities such as acknowledgements, certifications, approvals, publication, and retention.
  • Assists with regulatory monitoring and horizon scanning and prepares regulatory communications and newsletters.
  • Compiles compliance metrics and supports dashboards and presentations for leadership and governance forums (e.g., Compliance Committee).
  • Schedules and coordinates compliance meetings and projects, including agendas, summaries, and milestone tracking.
