About The Position

The Complex Products Manager leads strategy, governance, and lifecycle management for complex investment solutions across Osaic's product shelf. Working under the direction of the Senior Lead, Complex Products Manager, this role coordinates product onboarding, platform updates, sponsor relationships, reporting, advisor-facing resources, and cross-functional projects across alternative investments, annuities and insurance strategies, ETF-driven structures, and other products requiring enhanced education or controls.

Requirements

5 or more years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, platform management, product operations, due diligence, insurance and annuities, alternatives, investment solutions, or wealth management strategy.
Working knowledge of one or more complex product categories, such as alternative investments, annuities, insurance strategies, structured products, defined-outcome ETFs, options-based ETFs, private markets, or similar structures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review product details, adoption data, operational impacts, and market information to identify themes and recommended actions.
Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders, and open items.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex product concepts clearly and professionally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare clean reports, presentations, trackers, and decision-support materials.
Ability to work collaboratively across Product Management, Due Diligence, Compliance, Operations, Product Systems, Technology, Marketing, Sales, Recruiting, sponsors, and vendors.

Nice To Haves

Broker-dealer, RIA, wealth management platform, home office product, product governance, or sponsor relationship experience.
FINRA Series 7 preferred or willingness to obtain if required for the role.
Series 6, 63, 65, or 66 may also be helpful depending on business need.
Experience supporting product review committees, launch processes, advisor education, product communications, or platform governance.
Familiarity with tools or partners such as Envestnet, iCapital, CAIS, FidX, Pershing, NFS, annuity platforms, alternative investment platforms, or similar systems.
Experience creating executive-ready summaries, product presentations, advisor-facing materials, or cross-functional project trackers.

Responsibilities

Execution-focused product management role supporting coordination, analysis, and ongoing support for complex product categories.
Owns roadmap development, product prioritization, governance alignment, sponsor strategy, advisor education, and cross-functional execution for assigned complex product categories.
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for assigned complex products, including intake, business case development, review coordination, onboarding, launch readiness, post-launch monitoring, product changes, remediation, and retirement from the shelf when appropriate.
Create disciplined processes for evaluating products that may deliver similar exposures through different vehicles, helping reduce inconsistent treatment across alternatives, annuities, ETFs, advisory platforms, and insurance wrappers.
Oversee product availability, platform requirements, operational dependencies, compensation or fee considerations, advisor education needs, disclosure support, and communication planning.
Ensure product changes, sponsor updates, platform constraints, and issue escalations are documented, prioritized, and communicated to the right stakeholders.
Serve as the strategic Product Management contact for assigned complex product sponsors and platform partners.
Prepare executive-ready presentations, committee materials, decision summaries, product updates, and strategy recommendations.
Promote a collaborative culture that supports disciplined decision-making, clear ownership, and practical execution.
Draft, update, and maintain advisor-facing product materials, FAQs, intranet content, product guides, talking points, and internal reference resources.
Support webinars, training sessions, thematic campaigns, launch communications, and ongoing education designed to improve advisor understanding of complex product use cases and limitations.
Translate complex product concepts into clear, practical language for financial professionals, field leaders, sales partners, and non-investment-oriented stakeholders.
