About The Position

The Complex Process Improvement Manager is responsible for establishing an operating environment that embraces continuous improvement and leading facility efforts in quality through process implementation and troubleshooting. The role works with local plant subject-matter experts on troubleshooting and efficiency improvements for Specialty Folder Gluers; as this competency develops, the manager may support other complexes. In collaboration with the Complex General Manager, the position provides leadership in the RCCM process and helps develop and implement plans for measurable improvement on key machine centers to improve operations. The manager prepares plants for audits and leads plant audit teams. The position also works with supervisors and operating teams to improve manufacturing and quality systems, using manufacturing reliability tools to achieve operating objectives. Safety support includes safety audits, incident investigations, and new-hire safety orientation. The role monitors and reports on Tracking Incidents and Credits System status. Travel among four plants is required, at 50%.

Requirements

At least 4 years of manufacturing experience in the industry and converting environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing, implementing, and managing high-performance work systems and teams.
Knowledge of and compliance with local and corporate policies.

Ability to travel across four plants; travel is 50%.

Responsibilities

Establish an operating environment that embraces continuous improvement.
Lead facility quality efforts through process implementation and troubleshooting with local plant subject-matter experts on Specialty Folder Gluer troubleshooting and efficiency improvements.
Provide leadership in the RCCM process in collaboration with the Complex General Manager.
Develop and help implement plans for measurable improvement on key machine centers to drive operational improvements.
Prepare plants for audits and lead the plant audit team during audits.
Work with supervisors and operating teams to improve manufacturing and quality systems, using manufacturing reliability tools to accomplish operating objectives.
Support safety initiatives, including safety audits, incident investigations, and safety orientation for new hires.
Monitor and report Tracking Incidents and Credits System status.
