Complex Litigation Paralegal

Jimerson Birr, P.A.Jacksonville, FL
$50,000 - $85,000Onsite

About The Position

The Litigation Paralegal at Jimerson Birr operates at the intersection of business strategy and courtroom advocacy. This is not a conventional paralegal role. Our clients are small to mid-sized businesses, operating companies, financial institutions, real estate developers, healthcare entities, and executives, who face high-stakes disputes that threaten their operations, assets, and reputations. The matters you will support span commercial litigation, business torts, breach of contract, trade secret and non-compete enforcement, fiduciary disputes, real estate litigation, employment disputes, and creditor’s rights, among others. The complexity is real, the timelines are demanding, and the outcomes matter deeply to the people and organizations we serve. You are a motivated, resourceful professional who thrives where independence meets clear expectations. You’re energized by variety, stimulated by deadlines, and fully capable of shifting between strategic case-level thinking and disciplined process execution without losing momentum. You bring ingenuity to your work, finding new paths through complex terrain and delivering solutions that reflect both analytical clarity and creative problem-solving. You are a calm, composed presence amid competing demands, someone who can navigate multiple stressors without losing focus or quality. In this role, you manage all assigned attorney support functions from intake through verdict or resolution. You own the integrity of your casework, the reliability of your deadlines, and the readiness of your attorneys, serving as the operational backbone of your assigned litigation team.
