Complex Litigation Associate
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in the New York office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic team in a growing location. The lawyers in the New York office practice within the Corporate Group’s capital markets, private equity, securities, real estate, lending, project finance, investment management, energy, mergers and acquisitions, banking and general corporate practice areas, as well as general litigation, white collar defense & government investigations, and labor and employment.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of meaningful complex litigation experience
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Admitted in Good Standing to practice in the state of New York
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in asbestos litigation
- Admittance to New Jersey
Responsibilities
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions
- Case management
- Take the lead on cases
