Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- At least one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - day
- Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, provides holistic nursing care, and notifies physicians of significant changes.
- Develops, directs, and evaluates individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Prepares patients for procedures, implements physician orders, and ensures patient safety protocols, including medication administration.
- Regularly reassesses patient responses to interventions, adapts care to changing needs, and communicates with physicians for modifications.
- Utilizes Bedside Shift Report, provides thorough patient updates, and delegates tasks for seamless care transitions.
- Maintains a safe patient and work environment, promptly addresses hazards, and actively contributes to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
